FAQ

Does it actually work?
The HigherDOSE Red Light Hat is FDA-cleared and uses 120 medical-grade LED bulbs delivering 650nm red light to the scalp. In a 16-week survey of users, 93% reported overall improvements in hair and scalp health, and 86% noticed hair growth.

How long until I see results?
Most users see initial changes around 3-4 months, with visible hair growth typically appearing by 5-6 months. Consistency matters: the brand recommends 10 minutes daily for the first 16 weeks, then 3-4 sessions a week for maintenance.

Is it safe?
Yes - red light therapy at this wavelength is considered low-risk and is FDA-cleared for this use. The hat is cordless and rechargeable via USB-C.

How To Use

Step 1: Make sure the battery is fully charged.
Step 2: Place the battery on the back of the hat where the three magnetic dots are. The battery should easily click into place.
Step 3: Press and hold the power button. The battery will beep and the lights will turn on.
Step 4: Once the RED LIGHT HAT lights are illuminated, put the hat on your head! The battery will beep after the 10-minute treatment is up.

Use The RED LIGHT HAT daily for 10 minutes for 16 weeks. Follow up with regular maintenance treatments 3-4x a week.
